All Clear Laser Clinic

Client: All Clear Laser Clinic, Gerry Kervick
Description: Extension and renovation of existing
Value: £710,000
Date: January to December 2006

SG Molloy were appointed as Principal Contractor in January 2006 to undertake work at 5 & 7 Derryvolgie Avenue to provide extended facilities to the existing laser clinic.

The work comprised an extension of 9,000 square feet and significant refurbishment of existing building, heating replacement and re wiring. The existing building was re roofed, with structural steel and sound proofing installed

The phasing and programming of this complex project was critical as the existing clinic remained operational throughout the contract period. Issues regarding noise and dust were a prime consideration at all times. The high quality specification necessitated ongoing monitoring of activities to ensure compliance and regular liaison took place with Client and Architect to ensure that quality and programme requirements were adhered to. Redecoration was undertaken to match all of the existing finishes.

The work was completed within the allocated programme and budget and this was achieved by good communication between all parties, careful programming of the heating changeover took place to ensure no disruption to the operation of the clinic
